Procurement Category Manager

**What we're looking for**

We're in search of a Procurement Category Manager to manage end-to-end procurement activities within the Marketing, Facilities, and Travel categories reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing.

You are a strategic thinker, an organized and seasoned negotiator that has a proven track record of delivering results. An effective communicator that can build relationships with teammates, stakeholders, and cross-functional business partners to deliver exceptional experiences. Someone that embraces challenges, learns from feedback, and has an insatiable curiosity.

**You will**
- Analyze spend reports, commodity market trends, and lean on your category expertise to create, manage, and execute strategic projects that deliver savings/value.
- Create and maintain a top performing portfolio of preferred suppliers.
- Manage RFx activities with support from our Procurement Specialists team.
- Review, redline, and negotiate new and renewal supplier agreements.
- Enable data-driven decision-making by creating quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Partner with Privacy and Security teams (where applicable) on new supplier diligence to limit risks, ensuring our standard requirements are met.
- Manage success for critical suppliers through quarterly business reviews and scorecards.
- Work with partners to help develop business cases for new product/service requests and to facilitate make/buy decisions with a focus on return on investment and total cost of ownership.
- Champion Momentive's supplier diversity program and Global Procurement Policy by providing partner training.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to support a best-in-class customer experience.

**You have**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a Procurement role with at least 3 years at a technology company managing Marketing and Facilities categories.
- Proficient in general accounting and Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions).
- Advanced first-hand experience in commercial contracting.
- Experience supporting and presenting to executives.
- Proficient in Procurement software, Coupa P2P and Malbek Contract Management, or comparable.
