**CASUAL COOK POSITION**

The Bethania Group is currently recruiting for the position of **0.4 FTE Part-Time Cook for term position**. The Bethania Group manages Senior’s Housing in various locations in Winnipeg. We strive to provide the highest quality of care to all of our residents and tenants. To that end, we depend on the skills and compassionate caring of individuals in a variety of disciplines including our Food Services Department.

This unionized position (MGEU) plays a key role in providing quality meal services to tenants and residents at **DC Café located at 285 Pembina Hwy**. in Winnipeg, MB. The cook will work 0.4 FTE term position with 32 hrs/ biweekly. **Must be available for early morning and daytime shifts.**

**NOTE: ALL staff working in any of our facilities are required to be fully vaccinated and must provide proof of vaccination upon hire.**

**Requirements**:

- High school graduate or equivalent education
- 3-4 years previous cooking experience in both quantity and short-order cooking
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- WHMIS training
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lb)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- ASL (American Sign Language) certification is an asset, or the willingness to complete the next available training program is required at our 285 Pembina Hwy location.
