Hairstylist/ Barber

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a hairstylist and or barber.

Our 'Organic' name reflects our belief of creating a harmonious fit between Health, Beauty and Strength, that is needed to build the salon experience we provide. We use Eufora products and recycle with Green Circle Salons to create an eco-friendly space. Our team loves working together to help each other grow and develop our skills behind the chair. We value family time and are open and flexible to home life schedules.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Perform hair styling services with precision, adhering to client preferences and industry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to retail sales goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide professional recommendations.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and handling transactions efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a salon or retail environment.
- 5+ years experience behind the chair
- Obtains and updated hairstyling licence
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques with an emphasis on current trends.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty industry.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, enhancing the overall client experience.
- Strong organizational skills to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
