Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full Time Finishing Carpenter for Interior Doors located in Barrhead, AB.

**Essential Functions**:

- Read production orders and diagrams
- Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw
- Trim and sand joints, moulding, or other wooden parts to be assembled using hand and power tools
- Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels using glue, staples, screws, bolts or other fasteners
- Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports, and install hardware such as knobs and hinges
- Maintains proper safety procedures at all times for the safety of the crew and clients.
- Follows all company policies and procedures as outlined in the safety training program.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

**Requirements**:

- 1 or more years of experience in finishing work (trim, baseboards, crown molding) is an asset
- Able to use power and hand equipment and tools in a safe way
- Experience hanging doors with precision
- Finishes surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses
- Experience and knowledge of different finish trimmers
- Understand and read blueprints and drawings
- Able to meet deadlines
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Good work ethics and attitude
