**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health care Aid/Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities. Your work will focus on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support in home care setting.
**Responsibilities**
As a HCA/ Support Worker, your primary duties will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients
- Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to care plans
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Performing light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Supporting clients with mobility and transportation needs
- Engaging clients in social activities and outings to promote social interaction
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel
**Experience**
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care settings
- Must have car as this job requires a lot of driving
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care experience
- Skills in medication administration and caregiving practices
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work alone.
