Thomas’ Circle of Care Inc. has an exciting permanent opportunity for Child Care Worker at our Regina and Moose Jaw homes The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the home and the children receive the proper care and attention and follow the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children in the highest possible regard.

**Job Profile**:
1. Learn the case plan for the primary caregiver(s) and, more specifically, the children.

2. Provide children with age-appropriate activities and programs.

3. Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children; ensures food handling and storage follows appropriate safety guidelines.

4. Monitor behavioral issues and respond appropriately ensuring that children are safe.

5. Attend staff meetings and participates in safety-related initiatives.

6. Adhere to all internal policies and procedures.

7. Ensure the House Leader is kept apprised of all issues related to the children’s well-being and Safety.

8. Complete ad hoc or regular reports (e.g. incident reports, daily log books).

9. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of child/family information.

10. Perform related duties as required.

This position is to work in the evening and weekend shifts.
