Tech Forward Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator who is ready to take the lead in designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing IT solutions for our clients. You will be instrumental in configuring, securing, and enhancing various technical infrastructures, all while collaborating with our service and operations teams to deliver exceptional results. **What you will be doing**:
- Providing Tier 1 - 3 support for desktops and end user devices, network and servers
- Maintaining networks, servers and other infrastructure
- Working on Client and internal projects such as server upgrades, system builds, network security, cloud migrations.
- Maintaining the service level agreements through use of ITSM systems, processes, procedures and policies
- Proactively Monitor Systems: Regularly monitor and assess system performance, ensuring all components are operating efficiently and identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction through timely and effective support.
- Incident Response: Lead or participate in incident response activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the IT environment and contribute to the development of new strategies, tools, and methods to enhance service delivery.
- Writing documentation including runbooks, diagrams, plans, KB articles SOW and SOP
- Working a Hybrid schedule when not on client sites or in the office
**Your Skill Set**:
- Has MSP experience (An IT Consulting Company, Managed Services or outsourcing experience would be a huge asset)
Strong understanding of technology, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Windows 10, 11 administration and troubleshooting
- Windows servers, Active directory, Group policies, Powershell
- Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Azure Entra ID
- Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint, Exchange, Microsoft Endpoint Defender
- VMware, Vmotion, Vsphere
- Networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, routing and wireless
- Server hardware such as SAN, NAS, Servers
- Backup technologies such as Veeam, Zerto, Azure Site Recovery
- 3 years in end user IT support roles supporting users both remotely and in-person
- Has worked with business grade ticketing systems with an understanding of the ITIL and ITSM frameworks
- Some great to have knowledge: DNS Filter, Mimecast, Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, Dell
**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
