We are looking for a **CFAA Fire Alarm Trainee** to join our team at our London, Ontario, branch. This is a great opportunity to become a licensed CFAA technician while working full-time and receiving assistance with tuition provided from the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Filling out work orders and inspection documents.
- Assist with inspections of Fire alarm systems.
- Assist with service and repairs to fire alarm systems as required.
- Assist with installations of various system types.
- Perform inspections of fire extinguishers and extinguishing systems.
- Perform inspections and repairs of emergency lighting systems.
- Address customer service inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies.
- Assist with building maintenance.
- Assist other service technicians and sales staff as required.
- Assist with shop work as required.
- Work to assure branch profitability.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- We are looking for a reliable, motivated and high energy person with a desire to pursue a lucrative trade in the Fire Alarm industry.
- No previous experience required and on the job training provided.
- High school or post-secondary course in electronics or fire safety is considered an asset.
- Enrolled in or completed CFAA courses preferred.
- Willingness to join the union and progress as a licensed CFAA over time. This is a great opportunity to become a licensed CFAA specialist while working full-time and receiving assistance with tuition from the company.
- G license required.

**Physical Requirements**:
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, stand prolonged periods of time, lift 35 lbs, and other requirements common to a CFAA Technician.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Differentiate color coding of cables.
