**HAVN Lounge Attendant Job Description**

This is a part time, evening position.

**Responsibilities**:
**Food and Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and assemble menu items with precision and attention to quality.
- Follow recipes and SOP’s to ensure consistency in food and beverage presentation and taste.
- Manage inventory of food supplies, monitor freshness, and communicate ordering needs to the lounge supervisor.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide helpful recommendations when needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns or special requests.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere, contributing to an excellent customer experience.

**Cleaning and Sanitation**:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining and food preparation areas.
- Ensure food is properly rotated and that safe handling temperatures and procedures are maintained.
- Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and equipment regularly.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to service standards, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols. Take appropriate measures to address any deficiencies and maintain a consistently high level of service.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with the HAVN team to ensure seamless communication and efficiency in service, asking for help when needed.
- Support team members where needed during peak hours and contribute to a positive team environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to program and troubleshoot our POS system as needed.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Foodsafe is required and can be obtained at a later date.
- Analytical skills to reconcile cash outs and manage multiple orders and customer tabs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the operational needs.
- Comfortable being self directed and managing a large array of tasks on your own.
