**Position Title**: Insurance Advisor
**Reports To**: Manager, Equitable Life Advisory Services (ELAS)
**Department**: Individual Operations
**Term**: Permanent Full-Time
**Work Arrangements**: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

**What you will be doing**:

- Proactively contact Equitable employees and Equitable clients who don’t have an advisor, to review their existing financial situation and recommend new solutions to help them address their needs in both Life & Health and Savings & Retirement product lines.
- Provide ongoing service to these clients for existing products.
- Support the workflow demands from Equitable employee clients in association with the Manager ELAS
- Develop marketing programs and/or targeted approaches for the various demographic segments of the target Equitable clients.
- Maintain a workflow prioritizing support of employees needs and support plans and programs to develop new sales for internal Equitable staff members.
- Work with Distribution partners to develop marketing programs to develop new sales for their clients.
- Comply within CLHIA guidelines and Company policies, practices and procedures.
- Nurturing and building proactive support of the orphan block - partnership with RSMs for elite leads to Prestige Advisors
- Grow and improve the new employee onboarding experience through regular participation in Equitable Onboarding presentations.
- Conduct insurance and investment planning services for EQ employees and their family.
- Work with stakeholders to maximize term conversion and exchange opportunities and minimize lapse experience.

**What you will bring**:

- Life licenses in other provinces is a benefit and may be required over time.
- Successful sales and service experience within Financial Services.
- Sales and service experience with direct clients.
- Exceptional knowledge of insurance products and competitive products within both Individual Insurance and Savings & Retirement product lines.
- Experience with marketing program design and delivery
- Industry designations are a benefit (i.e. CFP, CLU, CHFC, TEP, FLMI, etc.).
- Time management and administration skills to maintain Client files and regulatory expectations
