The NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.
Core Accountabilities
- Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and procedures
- Report any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues
- Attention to details to determine condition of product
- Minor cleaning of product
- Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or pallets
- Putting stock into reserve locations
- Retrieving units from full case cartons
- Load/scan corrugate boxes into serialized containers
- Ensuring and acknowledge quantities match requested customer order levels
- Constructing corrugated boxes
- Using RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the system
- Keep area tidy
- Must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals
Other Duties
- Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as needed
- Lifting between 10lbs - 50lbs
- Standing for long periods of time
- Using appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxes
- Operation of Pump Truck
- Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines
