**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Travel to supplier locations to assess potential new suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits aimed at ensuring supplier compliance with IATF16949
- Understand supplier processes & controls
- Drive supplier quality continuous improvement activities
- Address supplier quality non-conformances by documenting, issuing and monitoring supplier corrective action reports (SNCR's)
- Assist suppliers in root cause analysis
- Perform corrective action verification activities
- Coordinate returns and/or repair of defective supplier product
- Maintain supplier performance metrics
- Assist in development of overall supplier quality for new, changing & existing products
- Aid in the maintenance of supplier information records (including QMS registration & CQI status as required)
- Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics
- Other duties as assigned
- Able to complete hands on work requiring heavy lifting
- Support and participate in all continuous improvement projects
- Liaison with internal and external customers
- Other duties as required

**_Key Requirements:_**
- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in quality related automotive manufacturing environment
- Computer efficiency skills in all required areas (MS Office)
- Working knowledge of all employment regulations requirements, blueprint reading, IATF16949 Awareness, and 5S Awareness
