The **Production Team Lead** is responsible for supporting the shift Supervisor to achieve daily production targets, assist the Team of qualified operators to meet the daily objectives while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assume Supervisory duties in the absence of the shift Supervisor if required
- Attend / participate in daily pre-shift safety / start-up meetings
- Support Supervisor and production operators achieve daily production goals
- Monito / maintain production equipment throughout shift to help minimize production downtime
- Train, coach and develop operators
- Support maintenance team when required
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, and quality standards while meeting production performance targets
- All other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Management

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Previous supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the recycling industry
- Strong interpersonal skills. Proven leadership skills to manage performance and inspire team to achieve results. Communication skills both verbally and written
- Strong operating skills in organizing, planning and time management, as well as getting work done through others with the ability to manage and measure team members work progress
- Forklift truck experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of computers
