**Financial Services Representative**

**This is a casual position supporting coverage for several branches in the Comox Valley area, including our Courtenay, Cumberland, Bowser, and Union Bay Branches.**

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Providing an exceptional member experience by proactively engaging with members to understand and meet their immediate day-to-day banking needs by identifying the products and services that will benefit them.
- Completing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments and/or other account transactions accurately and efficiently
- Transforming the member experience by educating them on our mobile tools and resources.
- Assisting and backing-up other team members and completing other duties as assigned.

**Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability**:

- High School Diploma (preference will be given for post-secondary education).
- 1-3 years’ experience in the financial, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus.
- Knowledge of deposit and lending products and services preferred.
- Effective listening skills.
- Successful relationship building skills.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with or without a calculator.
- Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential attributes.

**Salary**: $23.09-$25.58 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
