Ottawa, Canada Maebrook Full time

Maebrook is seeking a full-time/part-time Maintenance Technician Contractor who will be responsible for overseeing general maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance of three properties located in Ottawa, Ontario.

This position averages 20-40 hours per week, demands vary week-to-week

**Responsibilities** include, but are not limited to;
- Responding to various maintenance requests
- Preventative building maintenance (inspecting roofs, clean gutters and drains)
- Determining weekly service schedules.
- Maintain reports of work progress and work completions
- Coordinate, schedule and respond to tenant/management requests and Service Request. Ie; Repair/replace plumbing systems, Repair/replace air conditioning/heating/electrical systems
- Coordinate and oversee sub-contractors, as needed
- Assist with emergency problems (floods, fires, etc).
- Maintaining an inventory list of supplies including keys, tools and equipment

**Experience requirements**
- A minimum of 3 years general maintenance experience
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems etc.
- Principles of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
