Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence Delivery, the Data Scientist is a key contributor to create data driven solutions to deliver business insights and enable better decisions to drive growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with various teams to identify and integrate new data sources to address business needs
- Explore various sources of information to uncover business opportunities and customer insights
- Implement new techniques in Machine Learning/Deep Learning/AI to solve specific business problems
- Present findings, conclusions and recommendations in a clear and understandable way
- Support existing processes by auditing models, monitoring logs and developing enhancements as per business requirements
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a relevant discipline
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn)
- Experience with Machine Learning/Deep Learning models (RNN and Gradient Boosting)
- Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, Joins and Windows Functions)
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake)
- Experience with data visualization tools (ThoughtSpot, Microsoft Power BI and or Tableau)
- Experience with PowerShell is considered an asset
