**Manager, Environmental Health Health & Safety**:
**Job location**: This is a remote/in office position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada. If you are located in Ottawa, you will be expected to work in office 5 days a week.

**About the team**:
Reporting to the Director of Global Real Estate and Facilities, the Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), as a seasoned professional with extensive experience, is responsible for the development, promotion, and implementation of safe, professional work practices, programs, standards, and conditions that are compliant with environmental, health and safety policies and regulations.

The Manager, EHS will lead a global team of facilities professionals to ensure that policies and practices are implemented, followed, and enforced consistently, and that they support the organization's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives and commitments.

A trusted partner to stakeholders across Kinaxis, including within Global Real Estate, HR, and the Legal department, the Manager, EHS will contribute to an exceptional work environment and experience, and will contribute to work that propels our Health and Safety and ESG programs forward.

**What you will do**:

- Lead, coach, and develop the team responsible for providing administrative support and office management for our global offices, to ensure safe, professional, and compliant spaces.
- Develop and implement workplace standards that support the company's ESG objectives.
- Leads Kinaxis' global health and safety program; contribute to the development, drafting, revision, administration, implementation, and interpretation of Kinaxis' regional environmental and H&S policies, procedures, education and programs, and deliver trusted support and expertise in satisfying ongoing compliance requirements,
- Respond to daily operational issues regarding Health and Safety compliance, and monitor legislative changes and impacts within a global environment to appropriately manage risk and provide recommendations for improvement,
- Develop and facilitate EHS training, drills, and group meetings (safety committee, project improvement teams, emergency response, etc.) to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance
- Provide direction on workplace investigations related to health and safety, and provide trusted guidance and expertise to stakeholders across HR, GRE, and Legal services.
- Implement standards and audit protocols to ensure facilities are inclusive; partner with stakeholders within DEI team
- Develop and implement global energy program for all Kinaxis offices, which includes data tracking, reporting and vendor management.
- Support HR in worker's compensation; process accident reports and contribute to root cause analysis for incident and near miss investigations
- Provide emergency response support.
- Develop and implements waste management plan.
- Ensure WELL building certification requirements are met.
- Contribute to and participate in other programs and projects as required

**What we are looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing EHS policies, standards, programs, and procedures; high tech, global organization preferred.
- Minimum 3 years leading a team of global facilities professionals
- Minimum 2 year's experience ensuring WELL building certification requirements are met
- Understanding of global EHS requirements (i.e.: regulations, codes, standards, directives, and administrative policies) and proven experience providing regulatory knowledge and technical expertise.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work independently using initiative and judgment, adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience leading continuous efforts to improve safety and awareness in a global work environment, streamlining work processes and aligning efforts to meet strategic organizational objectives
- Experience completing service and support tickets, proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience to reduce tickets. Coaches and guides team on complex tickets and resolutions
- Proven experience leading Well Building certificat
