**Reports to**: Cultivation Manager
The Cultivation Plant Care Supervisor is the leader of the Cultivation Plant Care and IPM teams. They are versed in all aspects of cultivation relating to canopy management and biosecurity. By maintaining close relations with their fellow supervisors, the Plant Care supervisor will ensure that all work involved in manipulating plant canopies are executed on time and to standard with the goal of maximizing yield, THC and overall flower quality. They will also ensure that the IPM team properly executes treatment plans and scouts to maintain control over pest and pathogen issues from Propagation to Flower.
When needed, they will adjust treatment plans and biocontrol activities to ensure crop protection is maintained all the way from Clone to Harvest. When issues are observed by their team, they will investigate, report findings, and consult with their teams and manager to determine the best course of action.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reads, understands, and implements SOPs and IPM guidelines and adheres to Health Canada Standards, the Cannabis Act, the Pest Control Products Act and Pesticides Control Act;
- Ability to know and recognize diseases, pests or any abnormal condition affecting Cannabis plants;
- Develop treatment regimens to combat pests and pathogens on a cultivar-by-cultivar basis;
- Monitor scouting data and schedule supplementary treatments are required;
- Safe operation of a variety of equipment and systems;
- Understand and follow and enforce Organigram safety policies;
- Adhere to Organigram personnel management policies, processes and practices;
- Develop and maintain a perpetual training regimen for Plant Care team members;
- Obtain feedback to tailor training goals for their team;
- Ensure accountability from departments requesting support by verifying labour hour needs;
- Maintain SME level understanding and capabilities related to all canopy management activities;
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of all Cultivation Wis;
- Train, mentor and develop Shift Leads and team members;
- Monitor attainment KPIs and call out any challenges in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in Agriculture or relevant post-secondary education;
- Valid PAL (Pesticide Applicator’s License) is considered an asset;
- Ability to pivot tasks on short notice and work in fast-paced environments;
- Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written);
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Ability to push or pull up to 100lbs;
- Comfortable working at heights and adverse conditions (high humidity, hot or cold environments);
- Able to meet physical demands including reaching, bending, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, standing, and performing repetitive work;
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook and Excel;
- You must be in good standing to be considered.
