Extrusion Foreman

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the extrusion process.
- Ensure machines are set up and operating according to production specifications.
- Monitor quality of extruded products and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure adherence to operational procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material usage.
- Conduct shift meetings and report progress to the Production Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plastic or metal extrusion, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of extrusion machinery and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using production software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and heat in a manufacturing environment.
