Private Housekeeper

We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to support a Large Private Residence in Caledon East for 6-8 weeks. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of the A private residences in Caledon. The position will report to the Executive Director on the property.
This role will include the following tasks:
- Care of furnishings, finishes, and delicate surfaces including care of art, marble, and other surfaces (Training will be provided)
- Frequent washing, ironing, steaming, and linen care, including washing delicate fabrics
- Making beds and ironing sheets
- Closet organization, always maintaining personal effects properly.
- Frequent packing, unpacking, and transport of suitcases
- Organizing and managing household inventories
- Pantry and fridge monitoring and reporting of requirements
- Trash and Recycling management
- Sorting and preparing dry cleaning
- Answering the doorbell, greeting guests and visitors
- Occasional pet management (walking, feeding, and supervision)
- Supervise vendors and contractors while House Manager is offsite
- Assistance with private and social events, as required Handling general requests as needed

**Requirements**:
- Minimum of three (3) years of similar work experience.
- English language proficiency and strong communication skills
- Experience in hands-on household work and knowledge of all areas of property cleaning and organizing
- Experience with museum-quality cleaning and care for delicate surfaces, fine art, considered an asset
- Keen attention to detail, especially dust and cleanliness
- Occasional flexibility in working hours, according to employer’s needs
- Takes initiative and confidence in own abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Professionalism, polish, discretion, and confidentiality are integral Legally entitled to work in Canada.

- Full-Time, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (hours can be earlier or later)
