Head Coach for Children's Sports Program

Head coaches must be reliable, energetic and have a passion for coaching children.
Duties would include but not limited to:

- Follow the provided lesson plan and work with an assistant coach each week to deliver the little kickers program.
- Speaking clearly and confidently in order to explain each activity to the children
- Adhere to the theme of the lesson each week and convey theme in a fun and animated manner
- Physically participating in activities with children such as: running, jumping, dribbling a soccer ball, scoring in goal ect...
- Help train new assistant coaches
- Staying in close communication with program director.
- Carrying out basic administrative tasks at the classes.
- With training head coaches must have the ability to remember a vast about of knowledge about the Little Kickers program & be able to answer any questions that arise from parents or coaches.

Qualifications:

- CPR & First Aid Certificate.
- Prior experience coaching a sport to children between 2 - 8 years of age is mandatory.
- Ability to work weekend.
- Ability to travel between soccer fields, or indoors gyms.
- Ability to store soccer equipment at personal residence.
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required.
- Athletic background

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
