Kennel Attendant

YOUR DREAM OF WORKING WITH PETS CAN BE FULFILLED Busy pet boarding facility requires committed, reliable individual for part time work. MUST BE AVAILABLE to work evenings (4-8) and weekends. Ability to cover time off requests and absences an asset. Must be aware you will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions on a daily basis. Qualifications: - Attendance is very important as we are a small group - Self-motivated - Excellent communication skills - Strong ability to prioritize and multitask - Reliable transportation - We are not on a bus route - Ability to work in a fast paced environment Preferred: - Pet first aid certification - Experience working in pet care field - Preference given to demonstrated experience with animals **Responsibilities**: - Feeding all pets, and administering medications as required - Supervising dogs including monitoring all for behavioral concerns, general adjustment to social environment - Making quick decisions regarding the well being of all canine - Safe fecal cleanup - "poop scooping" - Cleaning floors, crates, doing laundry, and other cleaning as required *Additional duties as required Starting wage will depend on previous relevant work experience. 16-20 hours/week needed. **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 20 per week **Salary**: From $16.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Holidays - Night shift - Weekend availability Work Location: One location
