FTG is a global corporation offering design, development, prototypes and manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems.

We currently have an opening at our Aerospace Toronto Division for Production Manager Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate operations.
- Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets.
- Responsible for driving production efficiency to meet on time delivery targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Assist with the hiring, supervision and training or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
- Effectively manage labour cost expenses. Review actuals vs. budgets on a regular basis.
- Manage and support QA requirements to resolve product quality issues.
- Manage day to day challenges as they arise and look for solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to supervisory staff.
- Create a working environment that enhances employee performance and retention.
- Coordinate an effective working relationship with the unionized workforce.
- Enforce and support FTG’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills are required.
- A minimum of 10 years management experience within the Aerospace or Automotive industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Lean Mfg, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement).
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with process engineering would be an asset.
- Excellent computer skills.
