CMLS Financial, one of Canada’s largest Commercial lenders, is looking for a Funder, Residential Mortgages to join our growing team. The Funder, Residential Mortgages will work very closely with the underwriting and residential sales teams throughout Canada to fund mortgages originated through our broker network.

**About the Role**
- Prepare and send instructional packages to solicitors, along with supporting documentation, and remain a point of contact until the file is complete and funded
- Ensure the “Know Your Client” legislation is adhered to on all files
- Work directly with the solicitor to obtain any outstanding documentation
- Review and adhere to company funding procedures and legal guidelines to ensure that all information is accurate and complete prior to releasing mortgage funds
- Have detailed knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, conditions management and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate sound decision-making skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment

**This role is for you if you**:

- You have 2 or more years of experience within the mortgage industry (residential mortgage funding experience is strongly preferred) and a post-secondary education
- You have strong written and verbal skills in both French and English languages
- You have a working knowledge of residential mortgage legal documentation
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to work well independently as well as within a team environment
- You possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- You take ownership of your work and demonstrate a high degree of accountability at all times

La Financière CMLS, l’un des plus importants prêteurs commerciaux au Canada, est à la recherche d’un agent au déboursement des prêts hypothécaires résidentiels, pour se joindre à son équipe en pleine croissance. Cette personne travaillera de très près avec les équipes de souscription et de vente de prêts hypothécaires résidentiels du pays pour financer les prêts hypothécaires préparés par notre réseau de courtiers.

**En quoi consiste le poste**
- Préparer et envoyer les lettres d’instructions et les documents justificatifs au notaire et demeurer la personne-ressource jusqu’à ce que le dossier soit complété et financé
- S’assurer que chaque dossier respecte les obligations de connaissance du client
- Travailler directement avec le notaire pour obtenir tout document manquant
- Relire et respecter les directives d’ordre juridique et les procédures de financement de l’entreprise pour s’assurer que tous les renseignements sont exacts et complets avant de libérer les fonds pour le prêt hypothécaire
- Connaître en profondeur l’industrie des prêts hypothécaires résidentiels, la gestion des conditions et la conformité réglementaire
- Démontrer une capacité à prendre des décisions sensées et à respecter des échéances serrées dans un environnement à cadence rapide

**Ce poste est pour vous si**:

- vous avez deux ans ou plus d’expérience dans l’industrie des prêts hypothécaires (expérience en financement de prêt hypothécaire résidentiel fortement recherchée)
- vous possédez de bonnes aptitudes pour la communication verbal
