Live-in Caregiver

Responsibilities:

- Provide in-home care and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

**Skills**:

- Experience in senior care or patient care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to clients
- Familiarity with home care practices and procedures
- Basic nursing skills, such as wound care and medication management
- Understanding of assisted living facilities and nursing homes
- Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
