**The Opportunity**:
The Student Office Assistant provides support and assistance to the Recruitment and International department as a whole while learning about and developing proficiency in the area of student support and office administration.

**NOTE: This is for an Olds College student only position.**

**Key Job Functions (job tasks and responsibilities)**:

- Assist in planning, preparing for, and attending recruitment and student experience events, both in-person and virtually.
- Develop relationships with prospective students, admitted students, and current students, and clearly communicate information about program options and navigating the post-secondary system and student services.
- Manage meeting bookings and scheduling webinars for the International team.
- Assist with the review and updating of existing best-practice guides, inventory, presentation slides and other marketing materials, such as virtual newsletters and event posters.
- Review data and statistics from previous years to assist with the development of the student experience plan for the upcoming year. Suggest areas of focus for in-person and virtual efforts based on previous years’ data.
- Create newsletter templates and various tracking documents in preparation for the upcoming year. Cultivate technical proficiency in various online platforms, including Google suite, Canva, Zoom and Simplycast.
- Conduct campus tours for prospective students and other stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.

**Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge Required**:
An interest in and experience with intercultural communications is desirable.

- This role may be required to work some evenings and weekends.
