Within our large team of front line, management, and administrative staff, we seek to develop the core values of care, compassion and heart found in the faith-centered roots of our organization by building an inclusive team that reflects our diverse community so that we can serve those in need in relevant and meaningful ways. **Position Purpose** As a key member of the program team, the Asleep Overnight Worker supports the program by being on site during overnight hours and waking to attend to unusual circumstances as required. Provides assistance with morning and evening routines. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Sleeps through the night hours and is required to wake in order to attend to unusual night-time needs that arise with the clients. 2. Supports clients with the household morning and evening routines such as meal preparation, cues and reminders, and basic housekeeping. 3. Distribute medication and supervises clients to administer their medication in accordance with established policy, Assisted Living Regulations, and each client’s individual care plan. 4. Ensures that residents follow house rules. 5. Responds to emergencies in accordance with established policies and procedures. 6. Completes related records such as logbooks, charts and incident reports. 7. Secures the building by arming alarms and locking doors and windows. 8. Performs other related duties as required. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - Grade 12 **Training and Experience**: - Three (3) months recent related experience.
