**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent will greet customers, respond to enquiries, and provide information on merchandise; advise customers of golf course conditions and general rules and regulations; book tee times using computer program such as Golfrez or Tee-Way; conduct sales transactions and deposits of all funds for daily green fees, equipment rentals and Pro Shop merchandise, as required; operate the cash register, maintain a float and ensure correct change; prepare cash deposit; perform refunds, voids, and returns, as required; ensure access to the Golf Course is by authorized clients only; safeguard merchandise, supplies, and equipment; display merchandise, ensuring proper use of layout and ensure stock is rotated; assist in maintaining the selling floor and ensure the shop areas are clean and neat; price inventory; inform supervisor in regards to merchandise turnover and customer requests; perform light housekeeping duties on counters, display areas, cart compound and outside of pro shop; wash range balls and ensure sufficient buckets are available for next day’s use, as required; open and close the pro shop, as required; etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school diploma

**Experience**
- In merchandising, marketing and display set-up
- In operating cash registers and general office equipment
- In cash handling
- In providing customer service

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential / Bilingual an asset
