**Located just blocks away from the Broadway City Hall Sky Train Station and steps from the 99B line - Tucked underneath the Holiday Inn, it spans 18,000 square feet - featuring some of the best equipment that can be found in Vancouver.**

The Gold’s Gym brand has been the authority on fitness since 1965. It was then that fitness legend Joe Gold took the knowledge and expertise he gained from training at the world famous “Muscle Beach” and opened up the first Gold’s Gym on Pacific Avenue in Venice, California. **We are searching for a NEW team member**
**Time of Work - Must be available MONDAY-WEDNESDAY 11am-8pM/Friday Saturday 11am-Closing as needed.**
- Sunday/Thursday off (unless otherwise needed).
- no extended time for travel will be permitted within first 8 months of employment.
- note: $18.50-$19.50 / hourly + commissions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet members and guest enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club.
- Assist team with upkeep of facility / cleaning / re-racking.
- Assist team with enforcing club rules and policies.
- Drive sales through relationships and community building.
- Completes at least 6 hours of structured outreach each week. (internal / external)
- Self generate at least 30 new leads a month.
- Attend events and pop ups as needed by team.
- Provide excellent customer service through greeting / touring and presenting of membership options.
- Guide potential members through the sign up process.
- Ensure proper nurturing of all new members.
- Ensure proper placing of guest notes and key info.
- Completed full sales and front desk on boarding training.
- With closely with club leaders to track personal and club sales based on targets.
- Collaborate to create opportunities for the over all team.
- PLEASE NOTE: This membership is heavily administrative and requires a high attention to detail.
- Team members are required to be proactive - and must be able to work in a fast paced environment while being able to use down time effectively.

**What we need from you**
- Success in this role is at the hands of the team member - a willingness to learn and hunger to do better is a flex.
- Communication and curiosity is key.
- Service driven with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- High school diploma required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **_Valid First Aid certification an asset - but not mandatory._**:

- Fluent in English - Ability to speak other languages an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability work both alone and in groups.
- Critical thinking / problem solving skills.
- Ability to followed detailed processes.
- **_Must have reliable transportation (important for openers and closers due to limited bus services)_**

NOTE: Strong, driven sales team members make $500+ in commissions monthly after training.
