Renovation Technician

MBD Construction is a residential renovation company based out of Brantford, ON. We offer all renovation services, including basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and additions.

MBD Construction is currently hiring for a Renovation Technician / Carpenter position. This position involves work including but not limited to;
- Structural Framing
- Steel beam and LVL installations
- Doors & Trim
- Hardwood, laminate, and vinyl floor installation.
- Drywall
- Painting
**Responsibilities**
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Communicate clearly, professionally and politely with co-workers and customers
- Follow instructions from the Crew Leader and use professional language on the jobsite
- Comprehend and follow written and oral instructions
- Ensure clean-up of the job site at the end of each work day
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning tools
- Maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Follow all traffic laws
- Respect self, others, and property
**Required**
- Clean driving record, valid drivers license and the ability to operate a large truck with a trailer
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools
- A basic understanding of residential building and construction concepts
- Professional work experience with home renovation
- Ability to employ accident prevention strategies to avoid accidents and injuries
- Enjoys hands-on work
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Motivated, responsible, hard-working, and works well in a team setting
- Able to adapt quickly
- Communicates well with others
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift 20-50 lbs
**Experience **
- Minimum 2 years experience in the renovation or carpentry field.
**License **
- Must have G class license
**Salary**
- $17.00 per hour and up
- Wages will be determined based on experience.

**Salary**: $17.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
