**JOB PURPOSE**

Barrick is looking for a highly detail oriented, organized, and driven Rewards Analyst to join the Global Rewards team. Reporting into the Manager, Total Rewards, the Rewards Analyst will be responsible for the general administration of Barrick’s global employee benefit and reward programs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Primary responsibilities and tasks:

- Global equity compensation administration using the Shareworks by Morgan Stanley system; this may include activities related to: employee account management, LTI grant management, coordination of employee share plan enrollment, purchases, sales, and dividend distribution, etc.
- Administration of group benefits plans, group retirement plans, global mobility programs, wellness programs, perquisites, and equity plans; this may include activities related to: processing new hire enrollments and terminations, coordination of regular system updates, responding to employee queries, taxable benefit tracking and reporting, etc.
- Process global invoices and work with various functional groups (HR, Finance, Accounting) to track and reconcile intercompany charges.
- Interpret Rewards programs to generate, maintain, and analyze compensation, benefits, and other HR related reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate with the broader Rewards team to support the annual year-end compensation cycle.
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve Rewards processes and update process documents where necessary.
- May perform other related duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**
- Completion of College or University bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, Economics, or related discipline.

**Experience**
- High level of proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work with complex spreadsheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to critically analyze large amounts of data.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
- Proven organizational and planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service focus and a sense of urgency.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP and/or Shareworks would be an asset.
- Experience with budgeting and/or accounts payable practices would be an asset.
- Proficiency in French and/or Spanish would be an asset.
