Job Title: Bakery Assistant

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Bakery Assistant and be a part of creating delicious baked goods for our customers. As a Bakery Assistant, you will support our bakery operations by assisting in food preparation, baking, packaging, and providing excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Support cake decorating activities under the guidance of experienced bakers
- Package baked goods for display and sale
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service by assisting with inquiries and orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines for proper food handling

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry practices and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Skills in baking, cooking, or pastry arts are a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$16.95 per hour

**Experience**:

- Baking: 1 year (preferred)
