### Apprentice Plumber

### Duties:

- Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes and fittings according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other construction professionals to ensure proper coordination of projects
- Perform basic math calculations to measure, cut, and bend pipes accurately
- Gain mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, including fixtures, valves, and pumps
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings together as needed
- Assist with HVAC system installation and maintenance as required
- Build and plumb new structures or remodel existing ones according to building codes

### Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in the plumbing trade with a desire to learn and grow as an apprentice plumber
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and bending pipes accurately
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from journeyman/journeywoman plumbers

**Salary**: $16.50-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
