**Job Title**:Grocery Store Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Store Operations**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering stock, and maintaining optimal product assortment.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- ** Customer Service**:

- Foster a customer-focused environment and ensure excellent customer service standards.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- ** Team Management**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Provide leadership and motivation to create a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- ** Merchandising and Product Placement**:

- Implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales and visual appeal.
- Ensure proper product placement, pricing, and promotions.
- ** Sales Growth and Financial Performance**:

- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- ** Vendor Relations**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability.
- ** Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures for fresh produce, dairy, and other perishable goods.
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- ** Budget Management and Accounting**:

- Develop and manage the store budget, including expenses and revenue projections.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
- Oversee accounting functions, including financial record-keeping and reporting.
- ** Inventory Management**:

- Implement effective inventory control practices to minimize stock outs and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize stock turnover and reduce shrinkage through strategic inventory management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Grocery Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and accounting.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and implement strategies for business improvement.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

**Additional Details**:

- On-site role with approximately 25% travel.
