Wynn Park Villa is currently seeking a casual employee to train and work in both the Dietary and Housekeeping Departments.

**Dietary Aide**

The Dietary Aide is responsible for duties related to preparing and distributing food served to the Residents of Wynn Park Villa. Dietary Aides also ensure the pod area is clean and tidy and dishes are washed.
- Follows safety, environmental and infection control practices as per Facility policies.
- Follow the diet status sheets and ensure the proper meals are served to each Resident (i.e., diabetics, allergies, etc).
- Light food preperation such as sandwiches, vegetable peeling etc.
- Ensure cleaning of weekly and bi-weekly items in the Pod

**Housekeeping**
- Follows safety, environmental and infection control practices as per Facility policies.
- Responsible for the daily cleanliness of all rooms, bathrooms, hallways and general cleanliness of the entire wing
- Responsible for cleanliness of all common areas (e.g. common room, activity room etc.)
- Responsible for deep clean in rooms when resident is either discharged or transferred.

**Shift Availability**:

- 10 Hour Shifts; 7:30am to 5:30pm (Pre-booked and On-Call)
- Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday availability

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Food Handlers
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification as asset
- Reliable with good attendance record
- Respectful and hardworking team player with professional and courteous manner
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Home Care Setting an asset
- Clear Criminal Record Abstract and Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months

Wynn Park Villa is a 60-bed long term care facility. Our Facility is family owned and has three generations working alongside many skilled professional and support services staff to make our facility as family orientated and homelike as possible for our residents.
