- The BI business analyst has the mandate to perform BI analyzes in the business and technological fields. He manages the complete process of customer requests, from defining needs to implementing change, including functional analysis, and testing. He is also responsible for the BI roadmap as well as proactive analyzes affecting BI.- Maintain the relationship with business team members and understand business needs.
- Lead functional analysis.
- Advise and assist customers and users with a view to improvement and innovation.
- Identify and define business needs in accordance with business and IT strategies.
- Participate in the planning and prioritization of improvement activities and projects, while maintaining a critical eye in relation to the expected benefits.
- Analyze, model and document business processes, solutions, data, and procedures.
- Propose solution options and support their implementation by ensuring quality control.
- Ensure sound management of the ecosystem.
- Follow the evolution of the implemented solutions and offer support as needed.
- Coordinate the activities of IT operational teams for problem solving and provide support to project teams.
- Develop performance indicators to measure the performance of solutions.
- Carry out a watch to stay abreast of trends and best practices in his field of expertise.
- Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent relevant experience
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- 3 - 6 years of work experience in business analysis
- Experience with the insurance industry; an advantage
- Experience in BI solution development projects
- Interest in cloud computing and modern BI technologies (Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevOps approach; an advantage
- Comfortable with ETL, ELT, data lake, data modeling, etc.
- Organized and able to react to the challenges of a rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and innovation.
- Strong skills for teamwork.
- Recognized leadership qualities.
- Skills for interpersonal relations, communication, and pedagogy.
- Methodical work organization and time management.
- Bilingual French/English (oral and written).
