Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Take transient and group reservations accurately and according to the established standards with a commitment to excellence
- Be completely knowledgeable in all the rates and packages offered by the hotel (cancellation policy, sales conditions)
- Be knowledgeable in the hotel features (outlet hours, directions to get to the hotel, check-in and check-out times, room features, other amenities prices and hours )
- Offer a personalized service to each guest and seek for as much information as possible before the arrival (preferences, tastes, purpose of the trip.)
- Use upselling techniques for upgrades or additional services to maximize revenues
- Manage and follow up on existing reservations (identify duplicates, check for early departures and cancellations, cross-check our arrival lists with the different 3rd party websites, and charge the prepaid reservations coming in )
- Conduct proper and consistent filing
- Handle call queue by using call back formula with external and internal callers, answering calls promptly and within 3 rings.
- Perform Front Office duties as required.
- Perform other tasks and projects as required
**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in reservations;
- Familiar with Hotel services and products;
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment;
- Refined verbal and written communication skills (French & English)
- Indepth knowledge of Opera and Hotel reservation system.
