Reach Stacker

**Starting Pay**: $24.50 per hour
**Hours**: Minimum 40 hours/week, with the possibility of up to 60 hours/week.
**Position Type**: Permanent Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Reach Stacker / Container Stacking Machine to safely load and unload containers.
- Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Safely stack and organize containers in the yard, ensuring containers are stored securely.
- Follow company protocols and safety procedures while operating machinery.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of containers and goods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to machinery operation and safety.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of **3 to 6 months of experience** operating container stacking machines (Reach Stackers).
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with a high degree of skill and safety.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation.
- Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be able to work long hours (40-60 hours per week) and some weekends as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Safety Requirements**:

- Must comply with all safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times, including steel-toe boots, high-visibility vest, and hard hats.
- Complete pre-operational safety checks before starting each shift.
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in a busy work environment.
- Training in machinery operation and safety procedures will be provided, but prior experience is required.
- Commitment to working safely and reporting safety concerns immediately.
