Technician Histology - Laval Site - Evening shift (15:00-23:15)

The Histology department prepare tissues for microscopic analysis.

Work Schedule & Salary:
Starting salary at 19.50$/hr
Schedule: 15:00 to 23:15
Evening premium: 2.50$/hr
Weekend premium: 2.75$/hr
After 37,5 hrs: Overtime paid at time and a half
Holiday: Paid at double time
Annual bonus based on performance.
Relocation Assistance (if needed)

What will you work on?

Perform technical procedures used in Histology for all species and routine histology
Perform routine tissue process to produce microscopic slides (cutting tissue, using tissue processor, embedding, microtome cutting and grinding, checking slide quality).

Who are we looking for?

DEC in Medical Laboratory, Animal Health, Inventory and Research in Biology or other DEC in science or a B.Sc. in Biology
Relevant experience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment is an asset;
Understanding and writing English is required. Bilingualism is an asset;
Ability to work in a team environment.
Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Training will be done during dayshift (08:00 to 16:15)

From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
