We are currently a seeking energetic, compassionate, and resident-focused **Licensed Hairdresser** to work from our salon and serve our long term care home residents.

Note, the hairdresser is an essential service in the home and a valuable part of our team - we feel very strongly about this. They will work closely with the management and staff, to serve the residents. It is a very special role and position to us and we will want the best person for the role.

- **Licensed Hairdresser**

Independent Contractor with Rental Fee (chairs, mirrors, sinks, and utilities included)

Flexible schedule with full-time or part-time hours available.

Maple Park Lodge has 96 residents and Crescent Park Lodge has 68 residents.

- **Responsibilities**
- Schedule clients and maintain appointments
- Maintain hair salon cleanliness/ hygienic procedures and ensure all safety standards are met
- Cut, trim, colour, perm and style hair
- Provide consistent quality
- Bill and collect residents/families directly

**Requirements**:

- Licensed as a Hairstylist with Ontario College of Trades
- A minimum of 3 years of previous hairstyling experience required
- A minimum of 3 years of previous hairstyling experience with seniors preferred
- Must be able to supply own supplies and equipment
- Must have own liability insurance
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- Experience with seniors
