- **Position Available: Residential Disability Support Worker**_

**Job Overview**: At EIS, we are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Disability Support Workers. In this role, you will collaborate with a network of caregiver professionals to provide essential care and support to adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with other caregiver professionals within the individual support network.
- Foster trusting, positive relationships with residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and medication management.
- Support residents in participating in activities.
- Provide direct care and support in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Uphold resident rights and promote a person-centered approach to care.

**Qualifications**:

- 6 to 18 months of experience in providing residential care to adults with disabilities.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
- Ability to de-escalate and respond proactively to behaviors of concern.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Working with persons with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

**Available Shifts**:

- Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm (for the first 3 months, with the potential to become a permanent shift or change to 11:00am to 6:00pm in September 2025)
- Saturday and Sunday - 9:00am to 2:00pm

**Job Type**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Pay**: $18.61-$20.34 per hour
**Expected hours**: 15 - 45 per week
**Experience**: Working with persons with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)
**Work Location**: In person.

**Schedule**: Day shift, Evening shift
