- Production Operator Position - Afternoon Shift**
- Rate of pay: $36.60 + shift premium of $1 per hour shift premium
- 10-hour shifts: 2:30pm - 1:00am (Production position) - 4 shifts per week
- We currently have an opening for a Production Operator and are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to be part of our Team at our Burlington Location.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Scale and dump ingredients in an automated SAP environment
- Operate equipment as needed for each respective function
- Operate in a safe manner according to Dawn Foods health and safety expectations. Follow production paperwork instructions to ensure high quality and food safe product.
- Responsible for maintaining workstation and keeping it clean and organized
- Team Members will be required to complete food safety and personal safety training
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate the “Dawn Values” of Team Dawn and support the Circle of Excellence.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LEVELS OF COMPETENCE**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Must be able to work well with others or independently
- Computer skills helpful
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
