**Job Overview**:
**Reports to**: IT Supervisor
**Shift**: 5x2 Monday - Friday
**Safety Sensitive**: No
- RCMP Criminal Record Check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
**Travel Requirement**:Up to 10%
**Relocation**: This position does not offer relocation

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Provide on-site technical support for assigned locations or groups. This includes, but is not limited to, support for PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, conference room technologies, phone systems, and RF guns.
- Develop and maintain technical process and procedure documentation, as well as end-user documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy for technical staff and users alike.
- Act as an escalation point during the rollout of new client technologies such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile endpoint devices, ensuring smooth transitions and resolving any issues that arise.
- Work closely with other IT support staff and departments to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Complete IT service requests in department-related queues, addressing infrastructure needs, configuration, and performance issues.
- Provide engineering-level support for both operational and project-level hardware and software, contributing to the planning and execution of technology initiatives.
- Support the testing, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies and hardware, particularly within the infrastructure space.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- High School Diploma required, Certificates/Courses/Diploma in IT Services an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT support role an asset
- Strong customer service skillset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple complex tasks
- Expertise in troubleshooting and supporting desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Knowledge of video conferencing systems, conference room technologies, phone systems
- Experience in supporting large-scale technology rollouts and deployments would be an asset
