**Role Overview**:
As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring health care professionals across a variety of roles, including nurses, personal support workers, administrative staff, and various non-health related positions. You will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, ensuring that our recruitment strategies align with our organizational goals and commitment to quality care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop detailed job ads, and define role requirements
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, negotiating offers, and supporting onboarding
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key positions to support future hiring needs
- Establish strong relationships with schools, colleges, and professional organizations to attract new talent
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, workforce challenges, and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies
- Partner with HR to ensure alignment between recruitment and company policies, values, and diversity goals.

**Qualifications**:

- A college diploma or degree in Business Administration, or the equivalent education and experience is required
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the health care industry or a similar field
- Experience in labour relations and unionized environments considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
