Assistant Sales Manager

Bittele Electronics is a well-established and growing electronics company. We take pride in being one of the leading electronics manufacturers in Ontario, Canada. We serve customers worldwide but mainly in USA and Canada. With production facility in China and Canada, we are securing a strong brand and reputation in low volume Turn-key PCB assembly in the EMS industry.
We require an Assistant Sales Manager to help the organization meet and exceed our annual sales targets. This position reports to Sales Manager. The compensation package is a base salary plus commission and is flexible depending on qualifications and experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist Sales Manager in leading and motivating the inside sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage Project Coordination team to ensure a smooth order execution process that can manage and meet client expectations from order release to shipment through effective communications both internally and externally.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including assigning incoming leads fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to implement and execute sales strategies, including setting targets, developing action plans, and monitoring progress toward achieving sales goals.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Generate regular reports from and present findings to the Sales Manager, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Handle administrative tasks related to sales, such as preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, and coordinating sales meetings and events.
- Gather customer feedback and insights and share them with the Sales Manager and relevant departments to drive service improvements and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Monitor and manage the sales inbox by promptly responding to inquiries, processing orders, and filtering spam to ensure effective communication and lead management.
- Ensure SOPs and best practices are being followed by sales team through random auditing.
- Support the Sales Manager by generating quotes and preparing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
- Consult with clients after the sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
- Completing other tasks assigned
**Qualifications**
- University degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with a track record of selling B2B technical products and/or Technologist or technician diploma in an Electronics Technologist, Technical or Engineering program.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on knowledge of various electronic components
- Knowledge of schematics and PCB design (preferred)
- Mandarin speaking is an asset.
