Victoria Pub Company operates the Bard & Banker, The Irish Times, and The Penny Farthing and Vis a Vis Bouchon. We are looking for an experienced server to join us at the Bard & Banker as a Server/Supervisor. The successful applicant will manage the pub a minimum of 2 days a week and serve the rest of their remaining shifts. Starting wage for the supervisor role will be $20/hour and minimum wage plus tips while serving.

**POSITION PURPOSE**

The Supervisor will help create and maintain a fair and safe work environment for all staff members, as well as coaching, training, and developing new and existing staff members. Supervisors help the managers set the tone and lead the staff. Supervisors ensure the health and safety of pub and restaurant for guests and staff.

The position will work closely with the FOH and BOH management team to ensure exceptional guest service is provided to of all our guests. The position will complete daily administrative duties.

**Qualification Requirements and Job Function**:
Ø Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Ø Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high volume restaurant with daily sales in excess of $1000/shift

Ø Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Ø Serving sections of more than 10 tables

Ø Strong working knowledge of POS systems including Maitre’d in general as well as cash out procedures

Ø In-depth knowledge of wine, beer and spirits

Ø Ability to effectively communicate daily food and drink features leading to higher average sales

Ø Valid Serving it Right certificate (or provincial equivalent)

Ø Following health and safety guidelines as directed by the Managers

Ø Firm understanding of the restaurant, pub, and hospitality industry

Ø A good working knowledge of current applicable health and liquor laws

Ø Punctual, reliable and professional

Ø Ability to be creative and share ideas with the team

Ø Encourage and uphold a safe work environment while adhering to company policy around bullying and harassment

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
