We are an innovative and entrepreneurial insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm based in Toronto with offices in Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary. We have an exciting opportunity in our growing Vancouver office for a junior broker on our General Industries team (strictly Commercial Broker).

**Role Description**:
**As a junior broker, a typical day might include the following**:

- Develop and Nurture Client Relationships: Understand and anticipate clients/broker partners insurance needs;
- Stellar Customer Service: Address client/broker partners inquiries and concerns with speed, accuracy, and professionalism, ensuring a superior experience;
- Efficient Sales Administration: Manage tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and client - broker partners satisfaction;
- Maintain proper records for reporting and auditing purposes;
- Ensure all insurance documents are current and accurate;
- Monitor the collection of receivables;
- Prepare renewal files 90+ days prior to renewal;
- Manage other duties as assigned.

**This job might be right for you, if you**:

- Have 1 to 2 years of insurance/administrative/office experience;
- Possess a valid CAIB Licence or willing to obtain licence within 3 months of hire
- Have the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and multiple priorities;
- Are focused and motivated to execute your responsibilities in an efficient, accurate, complete and timely manner;
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Are a driven and enthusiastic learner who’s always looking to improve and develop;
- Enjoy collaborating and working closely with teams; and
- Are committed to attaining or exceeding client/broker expectations.
