Student Services Officer

The Student Services Officer reports directly to the Student Services Manager and is responsible for representing Columbia International College with students, parents and agents.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Provide assistance and advice to students on studying and personal matters, such as language learning and culture adaptation
- Act as a point of contact for students, parents, agents and school
- Co-ordinate communications between students, parents, agents and school
- Assist in the planning, promotion, coordination, and implementation of the Summer Camp or Short-Term programs
- Assist with marketing activities
- Conduct in-person or virtual campus tours
- Assist with event planning and implantation for various events throughout the year (i.e., open house, delegation visits, graduation, and orientation)
- Liaise with third-party vendors when necessary
- Other duties to be assigned by the Recruitment and Partnership Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Firsthand experience in the Canadian education system
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills including experience with database, word processing, and spreadsheet programs
- Must professionally and positively represent CIC during all interactions/liaising with students, parents, internal, and external stakeholders
- **Proficiency in a second language is an asset, such as Farsi, Arabic**
**Hours of Work**:
- Regular business hours
- Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays to accommodate operational needs.
- Work outside standard work hours is required
