Cafeteria Helper

Royal Crown Academic School Hospitality and Food Services Department is looking for cafeteria helper who will be assist in general cafeteria operation from opening to closing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Safely deliver product/prepared food from site to site in accordance with safety standards
- Restock and organize utensils, cups, plates, and customer trays before serving
- Collect and return used utensils, cups, plates, and customer trays after serving
- Clean and sanitize serving area, hand sinks, tables and all high touch point surfaces
- Swipe, mop floors and maintain overall cleanliness of cafeteria
- Maintain proper garbage levels; clean garbage and recycling containers
- Check, refill, clean cafeteria equipment on a daily basis
- Assisting Chef and culinary team with light preparation duties in the kitchen
- Assist supervisor in checking, recording and maintaining cafeteria inventory
- Assist in receiving and storing incoming product deliveries
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in restaurant or cafeteria is an asset.
- Multi-task with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under pressure during busy times
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift items of up to 40 lbs.
