Under the authority of the Director of facilities operations, the incumbent is responsible for the preventive maintenance of the laboratory, clinic, office and equipment and machinery areas. He or she will provide our internal clientele with an impeccable product in accordance with the company's standards.

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Follows up on work orders and performs necessary work in a timely manner;
- Works with the Maintenance Manager and Management Team to identify any deficiencies and performs the necessary work including: Repairs in the spaces mentioned below, (caulking, painting, tile repairs, appliances, etc.);
- Carpet and tile repairs;
- Basic plumbing and carpentry work;
- Minor painting repairs;
- Maintenance and repair of building equipment;
- Assists in the management of the key control system;
- Carries out repairs and work scheduled in the maintenance program and follows up with the maintenance supervisor;
- Maintains an up-to-date inventory of parts and materials;
- Inspects exterior building, fences, fixtures and performs maintenance/repairs as required;
- Performs preventive maintenance on air conditioning/heating system (coils, filters);
- Inspects smoke detectors according to established procedures;
- Responds in a prompt and courteous manner to service calls (internal customers, Front Desk) and confirms completion of work.;
- Performs office furniture repairs;
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to communicate effectively with other associates as well as clients.
- Willingness to respond to emergencies.
- Strong sense of customer service and attention to detail.
- Must adhere to departmental and company procedures and standards.
- Responsible for having a thorough knowledge of the alarm system, its components and the hotel's emergency procedures.
